PEM, Ballerina and Park

After we got back from Maine, we spent the rest of Tuesday relaxing. We definitely needed a day to unwind but mommy had told us that we were going to the Peabody Essex Museum on Wednesday. There was a new display called Eye Spy, Playing with Perception in the Art and Nature Center. We hadn't been to the museum since the new display came in so we were looking forward to checking it out. I really liked looking at the pictures through the 3d glasses!

In the back corner are all sorts of boxes with different toys to play with. I enjoyed figuring out how to make this top spin.

The final stop we made was to this room where we could look through the lenses and see different pictures in 3d. We both LOVED looking at the pictures and pushing the switch to change what we saw. After about 20 minutes mommy finally directed us out of that room.

When we got home, we tried on a special surprise that we got for Grace, Ryan and me for while we are at Cape Cod. Mommy saw these ballerina pajamas that also have leggings so she picked them up for my cousins as well. The reason why we tried them on is because Oliver found them and insisted on trying on one of the pairs of pajamas. Out of courtesy to Oliver I decided not to post any pictures of him wearing the ballerina pjs. He had all three pieces on. He did make a pretty good looking ballerina though.

I tried out a few different poses!

Twirling around was definitely my favorite!

This morning mommy did something kind of strange- she served us sausage and blueberries in ice cream cones. I thought it was great. She told us it was because the dishwasher was running but I still thought it was really fun.

Charley is really wanting a bite!

Later on in the day we headed to our favorite park.

I watched Oliver climb up to the slide. I wasn't sure how I was going to get there. The next few pictures show me trying to figure it out by myself!

How am I going to get down?

I will slowly sit down and lean as far as I can until my feet touch.

I DID IT!!!!
