My Little Dancer

Every Saturday I bring Adelaide to her dance class.  Normally, she lines up outside of the door to the studio, waves goodbye to me, and then enters the studio and the door is closed behind them.  I wait in the reception area and wonder what on earth these little ladies are up to!  I hear the music, the tappity tap, and the laughter.

Yesterday was family watch day so my mom and I were able to watch her dance class!  It was SO much fun to see her there.  We had a few laughs too.

Adelaide's Birthday Party!

We decided to have her party at American Girl this year so we invited our family members and a close friend and met for dinner in the bistro.

The kids all had a great time!  It was a bit crowded but we had plenty of space and Adelaide was in her doll glory!  She LOVES them and could not stop smiling all evening.  The bistro loaned us dolls and chairs to use during the party.

After the party, we had her pick out a little doll to take home so she picked out a bitty twin for her and Oliver.

13.1 Miles

Chris ran and trained for his first 1/2 marathon.  We headed down to Wayland to watch him finish and cheer him on.

You may not be able to tell from the picture, but when daddy came around the corner, she started screaming, "GREAT JOB, DADDY!!! GREAT JOB, DADDY!!!"

Sweet Birthday Girl

It's hard to believe that our sweet little girl is four years old!  She is growing into a wonderful little lady who we could not love more.  Adelaide loves hugs, kisses, baby dolls, cupcakes, the color purple, her brother, and all of her special people.  She is funny and charming and keeps us entertained.

Her fourth birthday took place during the week so I did my best to try to celebrate despite having to work.  When she woke up in the morning, she had a little placemat, balloon, and present waiting for her.  Oliver also had to have a placemat too:)

She really wanted to wear her pajama pants during the day under her purple cow dress so we went with it.

This photo makes me smile because it is a classic, "mom, please, please stop taking pictures of me" photo!

After spending the day at Christine's, she came home and had a little birthday crown waiting for her.  When Chris got home from work, we celebrated with cake and a few presents.

Oliver loves his sister so much...and just really wants to be a part of everything.

Opening a few presents from Nonna and Papa and Uncle Dan and Aunt Erin.

On Saturday, we will celebrate at American Girl with a dinner doll party.  She's looking forward to it!
