Christmas!

We spent a few days before Christmas at Nonna and Papa's house. When we arrived, Papa was ready to read some books to us!

They also have a special Santa tree that we decorated together. We had so much fun going through the ornaments and hanging all of the Santas!

After dinner, Oliver and I opened our presents from Aunt Erin and Uncle Dan. I was very excited to see that I received a new book! We love books!

Hugs for Nonna.

On Christmas Eve, we were ready to make our snowman.

All ready to go. Oh wait, it looks like I am forgetting my jacket. Silly me!

It takes us a while to get all dressed to go outside!

Papa and I walked Charley to the backyard where we were going to make a snowman.

Slight problem...the snow wasn't quite the right consistency. Have no fear! Daddy to the rescue. Let's take the table, lift it up and chisel a snowman from it.

Our table snowman that looks like he is about to go skiing.

Hugs from Oliver. He was pretty excited about the table snowman.

After lunch, the snow was strong enough to build a real snowman so while I was napping (thanks mom and dad), they built a real snowman.

After dinner, we got a plate of cookies ready for Santa. I have a confession to make. I ate the green Chrismas tree cookie on the plate. When I didn't think anyone was looking, I took it. I just couldn't resist!

We also figured the reindeer would get hungry so we had some reindeer feed on hand.

Yup, that's the green cookie that I ate.

After we went to bed, mommy, daddy, Nonna, Papa, Tom and Jo had a feast of seven fish together.

The next morning, we found the cookies were eaten, the water was gone, the reindeer feed disappeared and there were some presents under the Santa tree for us. We were SO excited to get our shovels.

I also got a beauty kit that included a little blow dryer, curlers, curling iron, mirror and brush. I LOVE it! I have been having so much fun playing beauty shop.

After opening some presents, we had brunch.

We opened our stockings.

I played beauty shop with my doll.

I love my Nonna!

After we spent the morning at the Cape, we headed back to our house to get ready for dinner at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Shawn's house. When we walked inside we had another surprise from Santa waiting for us...a new easel!

Before Christmas dinner, I quickly did some painting!

Dinner at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Shawn's was great. We all had lots of fun playing together and the food was delicious!

I even got to ride on Dzia Dzia!

Hugs for Aunt Marian!

I'm Dreaming of a Grammi and Dzia Dzia Christmas

Yesterday was a special day. It was Grammi and Dzia Dzia Christmas day! When we woke up in the morning, we first went to Chris and Michelle's house for brunch. They were so kind to invite us over along with Mike, Carolyn and Gabriella. Michelle sure is a great cook! The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start our day. After breakfast, we headed to church school. Technically, I go to the nursery and Oliver goes to church school.

Finally, in the afternoon it was time to head to Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house. Their house was all decorated and they had matching outfits for us to wear. If you put four children age 3 and under together, getting a good picture proves to be difficult. We did our best though!

We tried to get one on the couch but Oliver insisted on sitting on Lorelai's lap. I got to hold Gabriella!

For dinner, we started off with Christmas tree peeps and then we moved on to ham, potatoes, green beans, corn and salad.

Here is a picture of me opening up my necklace from Grammi and Dzia Dzia. It's a heart and it is so pretty!

Grammi did a wonderful job hosting our Christmas.

What I can't capture through pictures is that we all sang Christmas carols before we ate dinner.

At the end of the night, we put on our new pj's and were off to bed. What a fun day!

Cupcakes and Cookies and Frosting, Oh My!

You just know that if there is both a cupcake AND cookie day waiting for me, then it will be a good one! We decided to make "ornament" cupcakes in the spirit of our ornament theme this year.

The day got even better for me when Aunt Carolyn and Ella invited us over to decorate cookies. Ella was waiting for us at the top of the stairs.

We tried to get a picture with the three of us but it proved to be difficult!

It was a fun day!
