Cupcake Tree...I mean Christmas Tree!

One of the highlights of this past weekend was getting our Christmas tree. Oliver was very excited to show me around and give me some advice on picking out the perfect tree. Last year, I was so little that mommy and I left the task up to Oliver and Daddy.

Here I am searching for the right tree. Oliver really wanted a ten foot tree. Let's be honest, anything over five feet seems huge to me!

Once we got our tree and got it home, I started doing a little dance around the tree in excitement. We had to let it sit overnight so it could settle.

Finally, on Sunday night it was time to decorate! We got all decked out in our Christmas pajamas and started putting the ornaments on the tree.

Yummy hot chocolate with candy canes after we decorated!

Here it is! My cupcake ornament! I love it. We went with mommy yesterday to pick out an ornament for the tree and when I saw the cupcake ornaments I went crazy!

Here I am kissing my mini-cupcake ornament. I've been kissing them non-stop since we got them.

This past weekend was filled with fun. I don't want to forget to mention that I had a girls breakfast with mommy and Sandra while the boys went bowling.

We also went to a first birthday party which had yummy sandwiches, adorable cupcakes and lots of fun. The hostess was very kind to let Oliver and me help open the presents.

Thanksgiving Fun!

I was very excited that it was Thanksgiving. Mommy and daddy thought that I might take a nap at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's but I was way too happy to be celebrating. Here I am enjoying a few crackers before dinner. Oliver and I spent some time getting the sillies out before we sat down. We read books, danced and laughed!

Dzia Dzia and I did some snuggling.

Daddy tried to hide Llama Llama from me. But I wasn't fooled- it was in his pocket!

Got it! Yay for Llama Llama!

Our attempt at a family picture!

Mommy and I took our picture with Grammi! She did such a great job hosting Thanksgiving!

We decided to try to sit still for a picture with our bears but...Oliver and Lorelai thought something was SO funny! I didn't quite get it. It must be a 3 year old thing!

This joke got funnier and funnier...still not getting it!

Oliver's nice picture with his bear.

Lorelai's pretty picture with her bear.

Now I decide to be silly!!!!

When we sat down for dinner we were in for a few surprises- we had new hats! I also got a very pretty bracelet from Grammi!

The wonderful hostess!

My Godfather!

Mommy and I successfully snuck a picture of my pretty Godmother!

Lazy Days of November

Here is a picture of me with all my babies. I have Bop (the new one) and two Mini-Bops (as I call them). The name Moo has gone out the window. They sleep with me during naps and at night. This is typically how mommy finds me when I wake up from my naps: covered in my three favorite blankets and surrounded by babies!

This past week was really a lazy week for me. We did not do too much. We went to the park one day, went for a walk, I went to the Little Gym and we did some cooking with mommy.

I love lounging around in my pajamas! It's so much fun and so so comfy.

Today I had a follow-up doctor's appointment from a few weeks ago. I had to get a shot and my blood drawn for my two year checkup. I didn't make a peep. I didn't cry or even fuss. I think part of the reason could have been that Oliver was standing in front of me holding a pinwheel and lollipop for me that I could have as soon as I was done.

So, I figured crying was probably a waste of time. I have to admit, I did surprise mommy this time and last time when I got my flu shot. Same thing then, I didn't even make a sound. I guess I'm tougher than they give me credit for!

I am excited about Thanksgiving this week. I can't wait!

Gobble Gobble Time...Almost!

In anticipation of Thanksgiving next week, we've done a few little arts and crafts projects to get ready. Here I am thinking about what I am going to make. I am watching Oliver decorate his turkey and wondering if I want to do the same thing. After all, I do like to tweet to my own beat!

I made the decision to make a leaf instead. It's still fall, so I think that counts, right?

The end result: my leaf decorated with all sorts of colors.

What I actually think is much cooler are the placemats that we made with our sitter Nikki the other day. Mommy left some supplies with her and we got to work cutting, pasting and decorating. It was really fun to make these and have something to show mommy and daddy when they got home!

I Love My Dzia Dzia

Here I am giving Dzia Dzia a really big hug. I love him. That's really all I have to say about that. He's the best Dzia Dzia in the whole world!

Playing Dress Up and Going to Chuck E. Cheezits.

Thanks to Auntie Shannon and Uncle Matt, I have had some fun playing dress up this week. Mommy had no idea how much I love playing dress up. Before we picked Oliver up from school, I threw on a wig, some earrings, a necklace and some skirts!

Because daddy had school when I had my birthday party, we decided to do a little something to celebrate on Sunday. Daddy, mommy, Oliver and I went to Chuck E. Cheezits. Mommy has told me lots of times what it is really called, but Oliver and I thought it was fun to call it Chuck E. Cheezits. We had fun playing games, eating a little pizza and spending time together.
