Friday's festivities continued when we received a card from Nonna and Papa in the mail. It was a Monster Mash card. We had so much fun looking at it together.
Saturday was spooky foods day! Mommy and daddy told us we were going to have a spooky foods dinner on the night before Halloween. Grammi took us for a few hours while mommy and daddy got the preparations underway. Daddy decided to go as a mummy, per our request and mommy went as a witch. Daddy hid in the corner hoping to scare us when we walked in.
No chance of that! We knew it was daddy right away. He did make a really fun mummy though!
Grammi was kind enough to take our picture before she left. Spooky foods dinner was officially underway.
There was a haunted graveyard, hand, mummy hotdogs, mummy pizzas, monster face and bat tortillas.
The bubbling brew was Oliver's favorite. Boy was it sweet.
My favorite was the mummy pizza. I loved it. I had two of them. I didn't love everything else, but I liked the pizza.
There was even some entertainment at this dinner. Daddy did the monster rap for us.
Adelaide and I did our best to try to rap back at him.
Then Charley got involved and started taking the mummy apart.
Mommy tried to rap to...but it didn't work out so well for her!
And by the end of the party, daddy was back!
