Disney Vacation- Day One

For my dad's 60th birthday, we decided to go to Disney World.  When we got to the airport, Adelaide and Oliver were very excited about taking the airplane to Florida.  About halfway through the flight, though, Oliver started to ask me when we were going to get there!  No amount of markers, crayons, stickers and coloring books could keep him from getting excited and a bit restless.

Adelaide and Oliver brought their Trunkis with them as their carry-on.  For the most part, the Trunkis worked out well.  We were able to fit most of their clothes in them.  Adelaide got a kick out of pulling her Trunki everywhere.

Once we got to the Coronado Springs Hotel, we made a quick clothing change and decided to enjoy the rest of the day.  The weather was nice so we headed down to the playground and pool part of the resort.

Adelaide thought it would be so funny to pretend to be eaten by an alligator.

And then they discovered the huge sand/dig area where they could play.

Oliver and Adelaide spent quite a bit of time in there pretending to find dinosaur bones.

After a quick dinner, we decided to hop on the buses and check out the Boardwalk.

Any place that has ice cream is sure to be fun!

After some strolling around and eating ice cream, the kiddos were pretty tired so we headed back to the resort to get ready for our first official day in Disney World!
