Not So Brilliant Idea!

The other day, mommy thought she had planned a great late morning/early afternoon activity for us. She told us we were going to Russell Orchards to look at the animals and have a picnic lunch. This would have been a fantastic idea if the weather had not been so hot. Apparently, mommy forgot to check the weather and envisioned a day with a nice breeze and temperatures in the 70's. Not so much. When we got there, we were already hot. But, we decided to look at some animals and still eat our lunch in the shade.

Here we are looking at the pigs. Oliver and I loved looking at the pigs.

One of the pigs was taking a bath and we thought it was hysterical!

We also wanted to go into the barn to look at the horses, but we discovered that mommy is terribly afraid of being pecked by a chicken. So, we got close to the barn but we wouldn't go in with the scary chickens!

After our walk, we found a nice picnic table in the shade and ate our lunch.

Despite the heat, mommy could not get me to take my leggings off. When I decide to do something, I like to stick with the decision.

As usual, we decided to be silly. I think sometimes we drive mommy nuts with our silliness but we also end up laughing so we think it's fun!

We call this game "pretend to eat your sandwich."

After lunch, we played a quick game of tag and then headed back to the car and our air conditioning!
