Cupcake Princess

Trying to get a great picture of Adelaide wearing her cupcake princess costume to dance class was, well, challenging.  She is at the stage where she refuses to just look at the camera and smile.  It seems like that would be so much easier for her if she just smiled and was done with the whole thing.  Instead, it often takes many photos to grab a good one.

This one was when she was determined to get the cupcake to fall from her head with as little movement as possible.  She is doing this while I'm saying, "Adelaide, please smile for the camera."

Don't know what this one is...perhaps she is practicing a creepy ballet pose?

Getting a picture of her may have been a bit difficult, but it was fun to see all of the silly pictures that she had.  I took her to get her hair cut the other day.  I think that she will have her hair shoulder length, in a bob, for a long time.  I had this idea of her having luscious, long hair but given the type of her hair, the shoulder length seems to suit her and be manageable.

Cute pics. G is always saying that "someday my hair will be long like Adalaide" (who apparently has G's dream hair!). Just the other day she randomly walked up to me and said, "Don't be sad, Mommy. Someday your hair will be long like Adelaide's. Don't cry." Ha!
