Where Do I Begin???
This is going to be a work in progress because I am SO SO behind on our updates. I realized that the one gift that I have given to Oliver and Adelaide that they dearly cherish is their blog books so I've made the commitment to try to update them and get the rest of the books published by the end of the year. Going way way back...
Adelaide finished another year at Harborlight in June 2013 and had one more to go!
We got our townhouse ready to become a rental property and here is a picture of their room for old times sake!
We continued our annual trip to Rockport to one of our favorite spots.
Connors Farm had lots of entertaining activities and this dress will always be one of my favorites!
Oliver turned 6 and we hosted a Skylanders party for him.
Cousins together getting ready for the celebration.
Best way to hang a pinata...ever!!!
Hard to believe how fast these kiddos are growing up!
Another major event was that Dzia Dzia retired and we had a party to celebrate him.
And I celebrated another birthday. Lots of candles...but each one represents a lot of memories.

Trying to Catch Up.
Well, we have fallen very behind on our blog because of a busy end to the year but I'm going to try to catch up because the kiddos love their blog books and I'd like to continue that tradition.
This winter, we enjoyed some snowy days that involved making snowmen, sledding, hot chocolate and other wintery treats. On a side note, yesterday I asked Oliver and Adelaide what their favorite season is and they both proclaimed, "winter." Mine is fall so I was surprised but they clearly enjoy the wintery moments that December, January, and February have to offer.
We went roller skating for the first time and Adelaide really loved it!
We had a wonderful Easter this year...going to church and celebrating with our extended family at Grammi and Dzia Dzia's house.
Every few years, Harborlight Nursery School puts on an art show and this year was one of those times. Each classroom turned into a studio and the fancy evening affair was enjoyed by all.

Some Happenings
The kids spent one afternoon painting and learning about volcanoes. They then got to see an "explosion" from the volcano and thought it was pretty neat.
We had Grammi over for cupcakes that we made and hot chocolate.
Adelaide is obsessed with a bathing cap. She insisted on wearing it in the tub. This is a picture of the funny face she has been making lately. She scrunches up her nose all silly.
One Sunday project after church involved making t-shirts for the kids. Adelaide's t-shirt says, "I love Cherry, and Cherry loves me." Oliver's is a picture of him as Toad from Mario Brothers. Chris is very creative and did the designing on the computer.
This week, Oliver will officially have 100 days. It was supposed to be last week, but because of the weather it got delayed. He made a 100 story skyscraper and it was dropped off to school early last week. He named it 100 Cove Street Tower in honor of his school.
We had character dress up day at school. I went as Camilla Cream from A Bad Case of Stripes. Fun day!
